What are Bach flower remedies?

Bach flower remedies are a natural, safe and gentle approach to emotional wellbeing. Dr Edward Bach developed flower remedies in the 1930s, finding solutions for illness in nature, and they’ve been used widely across the world since as natural remedies for emotional wellbeing. He created 38 flower essences in total, some of which can be indicated for feelings of anger.

Why are you angry?

Anger can describe many states of mind. Therefore, we can’t say “this is the best Bach flower remedy for anger” as it depends on what’s making you feel angry. Holly is the flower remedy typically understood to be indicated for anger however this is only true if the anger is directed at another person in the form of jealousy, hatred, envy, revenge or suspicion.

PMS anger can be overwhelming. When women are in the last week of her cycle before menstruation, many experience irritability and hostility with a few experiencing physical violence.

What is interesting about our PMS anger is that it's often out of character for us to act in this way. How do you take flower remedies?

Flower remedies are not essential oils, they are taken orally. Take a minimum of four drops, four times per day especially first thing in the morning and last thing at night. You can either add the drops to a drink or put them directly in your mouth under the tongue. If you put directly into your mouth, please be mindful not to touch your mouth as this risks contaminating the bottle. If following these directions, the bottle should last approximately three weeks, by which time you should hopefully have felt some of the balancing effects of the remedies.

With Mindful Remedies, you can select up to seven flower essences in a bottle, however more is not better. If there are too many remedies in a bottle this may slow down the effects of the ones needed so pick carefully.
