Bach flower remedies for anger

Holly Bach Flower: For anger & hatred

Holly is indicated for people who have a strong anger or hatred towards other people. This can manifest itself in different ways for example an aggressive temper, constantly starting explosive arguments, or suspicion or jealous. People who need Holly are often distrustful and have a heart that has been hardened and closed off. They may fear they’re being deceived.

The emotions involved with a Holly person are usually strong and can have a very negative impact on others around, loved ones or family members. As with the holly leaves, this person can be spikey or prickly.

A hardened heart can make a person angry, jealous or spiteful. They may become fixated on getting revenge or make things harder for people who have done nothing wrong. This can prevent a person from empathising with others and make them more likely to hold grudges. It can also lead to a feeling of loneliness, as people with hard hearts often push others away. If you find yourself becoming angry or resentful for no good reason, try to take a step back and examine your feelings, why they’re occurring and consider trying the Holly flower remedy.

The positive potential of Holly is to feel love and inner harmony.

More about Bach flower remedies

What are Bach flower remedies?

The Bach flower remedies were created in the 1930s by Dr. Edward Bach, who was a physician and homeopath before discovering this healing method that linked physical symptoms to emotional wellbeing - and vice versa! He set out on his journey because he wanted people's general health as well as their mental state being improved with natural treatments like those found among flowers or plants around us every day. There are 38 flower remedies, each relating to a different emotion.

The flower remedies are natural, safe to use and can be taken by people of all ages including pregnant women and babies. They don’t have any interactions with any medication.

The remedies are not to be confused with essential oils - they don’t smell! They take on the energetic imprint of the flower, but none of its physical properties.

The remedies are taken by mouth, a minimum of four drops, four times per day. You can put them directly into your mouth or into a drink. It can be helpful to put into a water bottle or jug and sip throughout the day. We recommend taking first thing in the morning and last thing at night. When you first start taking the remedies you may wish to take more frequently for a couple of days to give yourself a good start. A bottle should last around 3 weeks and within this time you should start to feel some balancing of your emotions. Longer standing negative emotions will take longer to shift however.
